Real Estate App in North Cyprus: Features Buyers Love

Real Estate App in North Cyprus: Features Buyers Love

Property buyers in North Cyprus come from all over the world. Many of them search for a villa or apartment from another country, months before they visit, and they do almost all of it on their phone. A real estate app keeps your agency in their pocket throughout that journey: they save the homes they love, get notified when a new one matches their wishes and book a viewing in a single tap.

I build Flutter apps and WordPress websites, and I have worked on a multilingual real estate website here in North Cyprus. In this guide I explain what a real estate app should include, how it works together with your website, and how to plan a first version that buyers actually use.

Why a real estate agency needs an app

Buying a home is a long decision. Buyers come back again and again to compare properties, show them to family and check what is new. A website is perfect for being found on Google, while an app is perfect for those returning buyers: it opens instantly from the home screen, remembers their favourites and brings them back with a notification when the right property appears. That steady contact is what turns a visitor into a viewing, and a viewing into a sale.

Features buyers will love

Search that feels effortless. Filters for area, property type, bedrooms, price and features such as a sea view or private pool, with results updating as buyers tap.

A map of the whole coast. Properties shown as pins from Kyrenia to Famagusta and the Karpaz, so buyers can explore by location and see what is nearby.

Rich property pages. Large photo galleries, video tours, floor plans and the key details at a glance: bedrooms, bathrooms, size and completion date.

Favourites and comparison. Buyers save homes with a heart, compare them side by side and share a listing with family on WhatsApp.

Alerts for new properties. A push notification as soon as a new listing matches a saved search, so your best buyers hear about it first.

Book a viewing in one tap. In person or by video call, with WhatsApp and phone buttons on every listing for quick questions.

Every language your buyers speak. English, Turkish, German, Russian, Persian, Arabic and more, including right-to-left layouts, so every buyer feels at home from the first screen.

What your agency team needs behind the scenes

  • One place to add and update listings, photos and prices
  • Viewing requests and enquiries collected in one list, with the property attached
  • Push notifications you can send for new projects or special offers
  • Simple statistics on the most viewed and most saved properties

Website and app, one set of listings

Most buyers first meet you on Google, searching for things like “villa for sale Kyrenia” or “apartment Famagusta”. That is the job of a fast, multilingual WordPress website, with a page for every property and every area. The app does not need its own separate database: built with Flutter, it reads the same listings from your WordPress website through the REST API. You add a property once in WordPress, and it appears on the website and in the app at the same time. One app for Android and iPhone

International buyers use every kind of phone. With Flutter, a single codebase becomes a native app for both Android and iPhone, with the same design, the same speed and the same features everywhere. That keeps development time and maintenance lower than building two separate apps. A sensible first version

  1. Listings with search, filters, map and photo galleries
  2. Favourites, sharing and a viewing request form
  3. Your main languages and alerts for new listings

Video tours, comparison, buyer accounts and an agent area can follow once buyers are using the app. You can see how such an app can look in my real estate app concept, and the website side in the Luxury Life Property website project.

Frequently asked questions

Can the app use the listings from my existing WordPress website?

Yes, in most cases. The app reads your properties through the WordPress REST API, so you keep managing everything in one place.

Can buyers get alerts for new properties?

Yes. Buyers save a search, and the app sends a push notification when a new property matches it.

Does the app support several languages?

Yes. Flutter handles many languages well, including right-to-left languages such as Persian and Arabic, and buyers can switch at any time.

Do I need a website if I have an app?

Yes. Your website is how new buyers find you on Google, and the app keeps them close afterwards. The two work best together.
