Clinic & Dental Practice Website Design in North Cyprus

Clinic & Dental Practice Website Design in North Cyprus

Choosing a dentist, a doctor or an aesthetic clinic is a decision based on trust. Before patients call, they want to know who will treat them, what the clinic looks like, which treatments are offered, how to book and how to get there. In North Cyprus that research happens online, on a phone, and often in English: the clinic’s patients include local families, international students, foreign residents and visitors who travel to the island for treatment.

I’m a WordPress and Flutter developer based in Famagusta. This guide explains what a clinic, dental practice or medical centre website in North Cyprus needs to turn visitors into booked appointments, and how an appointment app can take it further once the website is in place.

1. Introduce the people, not only the building

Patients want to see who will treat them. A team page with real photos, each doctor’s specialty, education, languages spoken and years of experience builds more trust than any slogan. A short personal introduction from the lead doctor, and clear photos of the reception and treatment rooms, help nervous patients feel at ease before their first visit.

2. One clear page for each treatment

Instead of a long list on one page, give each main treatment its own page: what it is, who it is for, how the process works, how many visits it usually takes and what to expect afterwards. Simple language matters more than medical vocabulary, and every page should end with an easy way to ask a question or book.

Separate pages also help with search. Someone looking for “dental implants Famagusta” or “orthodontist Kyrenia” is far more likely to find a page dedicated to that treatment than a general services page.

3. Booking that takes less than a minute

The main goal of a clinic website is the appointment. Depending on how your clinic works, that can be an appointment request form, a booking calendar connected to your schedule, a click-to-call button or a WhatsApp button with a ready message. On mobile, these options should always be one tap away.

Keep the form short: name, phone or email, preferred day and a short note are usually enough. Long forms with many required fields make people give up, especially on a phone.

4. Pages for patients who travel for treatment

Many clinics in North Cyprus welcome patients from abroad. These visitors need extra information: how treatment is planned before arrival, how many days to stay, which airport to use, how transfers and accommodation work, and how follow-up is handled after they return home. A dedicated page that answers these questions saves many emails and makes the clinic look organised and reliable.

5. The languages your patients speak

English and Turkish cover most patients. If many of your visitors come from Germany, the UK or the Middle East, a German, Persian or Arabic version can make a real difference, because people want to read about their health in their own language. With WordPress and WPML, each language gets its own pages and its own place in Google. Read more in my guide to multilingual WordPress websites.

6. Trust: reviews, certificates and clear information

Show what makes your clinic trustworthy: memberships and certificates, the equipment and hygiene standards you follow, and genuine patient reviews or a link to your Google reviews. Clear opening hours, emergency contact details and an honest explanation of how consultations work are just as important.

Before-and-after photos and patient stories can be powerful, but only with the patient’s written permission. Medical content should be written or checked by the doctors themselves, and claims should stay realistic.

7. Privacy and security for patient data

Appointment forms collect personal information, so the website must be secure. That means HTTPS on every page, a clear privacy policy, forms that send data only where it is needed, spam protection, regular updates and backups stored safely. Sensitive medical details are better discussed by phone or in person than collected through a public form. Keeping the site updated is part of this, which is why I offer WordPress maintenance after launch.

8. Local SEO and a fast mobile site

Most patients search for a clinic near them: “dentist near me”, “dermatologist in Nicosia”, “clinic in Famagusta”. To appear in those results, your website and Google Business Profile should show exactly the same name, address, phone number and opening hours, and the website should include the treatments and town in its page titles (see my local SEO guide for North Cyprus). Structured data tells search engines that your business is a medical clinic with an address, hours and services.

Speed matters too. A clinic website full of photos can still load quickly with optimised images and caching, as I explain in my guide to Core Web Vitals.

When an appointment app makes sense

For clinics with many returning patients, a mobile app can make life easier for patients and staff: booking and rescheduling appointments, automatic reminders that reduce missed visits, treatment plans and aftercare instructions, and direct messages to the clinic. As a Flutter developer in North Cyprus, I build apps for Android and iPhone, and the app can use the same treatments and information you already manage in WordPress.

Frequently asked questions

Can patients book appointments directly on the website?

Yes. The simplest option is an appointment request form that you confirm by phone or email. If your clinic uses an online calendar, the website can show available times so patients choose a slot themselves.

Can we update doctors, treatments and opening hours ourselves?

Yes. With WordPress you edit them from a simple dashboard, in every language of the site. I show your team how to make these changes when the website is handed over.

Do you build websites for dental clinics and aesthetic clinics?

Yes. The same approach works for dental practices, medical centres, physiotherapy, aesthetic and beauty clinics: clear treatment pages, an introduction to the team, easy booking and trust signals that help patients decide.

Do you work with clinics outside Famagusta?

Yes. I work with businesses across North Cyprus, including Kyrenia, Nicosia and İskele. For clinics in Famagusta we can also meet in person.
