Law Firm & Accountant Website Design in North Cyprus
Lawyers, accountants and consultants in North Cyprus have more international clients than ever. Foreign property buyers need a lawyer for the contract and the permit to purchase, investors and new residents need help with company formation and residence permits, and local businesses need accounting and tax advice. Before any of them call, they look you up. A professional, clear website is often what decides whether a client trusts you enough to book a first meeting.
I’m a WordPress and Flutter developer based in Famagusta. This guide explains what a law firm, accounting office or consultancy website in North Cyprus needs to look credible, explain complex services simply and bring in serious enquiries.
1. A calm, professional design that earns trust
People choose a lawyer or accountant because they feel they can rely on them. The design should reflect that: clean layouts, readable text, real photos of your office and team, and no clutter. A professional website does not need to be expensive or flashy. It needs to look careful and up to date, because clients assume your work is done the same way.
2. Practice areas explained in plain language
Give each service its own page: property purchase and conveyancing, company formation, residence and work permits, family law, bookkeeping, payroll, tax returns or audit. Explain who the service is for, how the process works, what documents the client usually needs and how long it typically takes. Clear, honest explanations attract better clients and save your team from answering the same basic questions again and again.
3. Your team, qualifications and languages
Clients want to know who will handle their case. A profile for each lawyer, accountant or adviser with a photo, qualifications, areas of focus and the languages they speak helps clients choose and feel comfortable. For international clients, knowing that someone speaks their language is often the deciding factor.
4. Pages in the languages of your clients
Many firms here serve clients in Turkish, English and one or more other languages, such as German, Russian, Persian or Arabic. Legal and financial topics are hard to understand in a second language, so translated pages are a real service to your clients, not just marketing. Each language should be a full version of the site with its own titles, and right-to-left languages need a proper layout. My guide to multilingual WordPress websites explains how this is done.
5. Easy appointments and secure enquiries
Make the first step simple: a short enquiry form, a booking calendar for first consultations in person or by video call, a click-to-call number and WhatsApp. Forms should only ask for what you really need at the start, explain how the information is used, and be protected against spam. Sensitive documents are better exchanged later through a secure channel you choose, not sent through a basic website form.
6. Guides that answer clients’ questions
Short, accurate articles on topics like “buying property in North Cyprus as a foreigner”, “setting up a company” or “residence permit steps” show your expertise and are exactly what people search for. They should link to official sources, include the date they were last updated, and make clear that they are general information, not advice for a specific case. Over time, these guides become one of your best sources of new clients.
7. Security, privacy and reliability
A law or accounting firm’s website must be secure. That means HTTPS everywhere, regular updates, strong logins with two-factor authentication, daily backups and a clear privacy policy. A hacked or broken website does much more damage to a professional firm than to most other businesses. Regular WordPress maintenance keeps all of this in place.
8. Fast pages and local search
Many clients look you up on their phone between meetings. The site should load quickly and make contact easy. On a four-language WordPress website I improved the homepage PageSpeed score from 51 to 75 on mobile and from 81 to 97 on desktop without changing the design; the details are in my PageSpeed case study.
People search for things like “lawyer Kyrenia”, “property lawyer North Cyprus”, “accountant Nicosia” or “avukat Gazimağusa”. Service pages written for these searches, your office address and hours, and a complete Google Business Profile help you appear in them and on the map. My guide to local SEO in North Cyprus covers the steps you can take yourself.
When a client portal or app makes sense
Firms with many ongoing clients sometimes outgrow email. A secure client portal or app can show the status of each case or file, list the documents still needed, send reminders for deadlines and appointments, and keep messages in one place. As a Flutter developer in North Cyprus, I build apps for Android and iPhone from one codebase. See my app development services in North Cyprus.
Frequently asked questions
Can we publish articles and update our team pages ourselves?
Yes. Writing a new article, adding a team member or updating a service page is done from a simple dashboard, in every language. I show your team how to do it when the website is handed over.
Can clients book a first consultation online?
Yes. A booking calendar can show your available times for meetings at the office or by video call, send confirmations and reminders, and let you block days when you are in court or busy with deadlines.
Can you redesign our current website without losing our Google rankings?
Yes. Before a redesign I list the pages that already bring visitors, keep their addresses where possible and set up redirects for any that change. Read 7 signs your website needs a refresh to see whether a redesign makes sense for you.
Do you work with firms outside Famagusta?
Yes, including Nicosia, Kyrenia and İskele. For firms in Famagusta we can also meet in person. The guide to website costs in North Cyprus explains what affects the scope.
