Construction Company Website Design in North Cyprus: Show the Work, Win the Trust
Cranes are part of the skyline in North Cyprus. From villas in Kyrenia and apartment blocks in Famagusta to large projects along the İskele coast, construction companies, contractors and builders are busier than ever. Yet many of them still rely on word of mouth and a social media page. Homeowners who want to build, investors who want to understand who is behind a project and developers looking for a reliable contractor all search online first, and the company with the clearest website starts the conversation.
I’m a WordPress and Flutter developer in Famagusta, and I build and look after a four-language real estate website for a property company here. This guide explains what a construction company or contractor website in North Cyprus needs to win trust and bring in serious enquiries.
1. Completed projects that prove what you can build
In construction, your past work is your strongest argument. Give each completed project its own page with real photos, the location, the type of building, the year it was finished and what your company did: the full build, the structure, the finishing or the renovation. A portfolio that can be filtered by type, such as villas, apartments, commercial buildings and renovations, lets every visitor find the work that matches their own plans.
2. Ongoing projects with real progress updates
Buyers and investors who live abroad want to see that a project is really moving. Dated photos and short updates from the site, from foundations to handover, are one of the most convincing things a construction website can show. They also give your existing clients a reason to share your website with friends and family.
3. Clear services for every type of client
A homeowner planning a villa, a developer looking for a main contractor and a business that needs a renovation are very different visitors. A short page for each service, such as design and build, turnkey villas, contracting for developers, renovation and fit-out, or project management, explains how you work with each of them and what the next step is.
4. Trust: company details, team and quality
Building is a big investment, and people want to know who they are dealing with. Show your company details, how long you have been working, the engineers and architects on your team, the materials and suppliers you use, the guarantees you give and any memberships or licences. Honest, specific information builds far more trust than general claims.
5. A step-by-step guide to building in North Cyprus
Many clients, especially from abroad, don’t know how the process works: buying land, design and permits, the build itself, inspections and handover. A clear page that explains the steps, how long each one usually takes and what the client needs to prepare answers the questions your team hears every week, and it is excellent content for Google. Where official rules are involved, link to the official sources and keep the page up to date.
6. Languages for local and international clients
Your clients may be local families, Turkish investors, British and German homeowners or buyers from the Middle East and Central Asia. Turkish and English are the usual starting point, and German, Russian, Persian or Arabic can be added for the markets you work with. Each language should be a full version of the site with its own titles, so it can be found in that language. My guide to multilingual WordPress websites explains how this works.
7. Enquiries that reach the right person
A request for a villa quote, a subcontractor offer and a job application should not land in the same inbox. Separate forms for each type of enquiry, a WhatsApp button and a click-to-call number make it easy to get in touch, and each message reaches the right person with the details your team needs, such as the plot location, the size of the building and the budget range.
8. Fast galleries and local search
Construction websites are full of large photos, which can make them slow on a phone. With properly compressed images and a light setup, a gallery-heavy site can still load quickly. On a four-language WordPress website I improved the homepage PageSpeed score from 51 to 75 on mobile and from 81 to 97 on desktop without changing the design; the details are in my PageSpeed case study.
People search for things like “construction company Kyrenia”, “villa builder North Cyprus” or “inşaat firması Gazimağusa”. Service and project pages written for these searches and a complete Google Business Profile help you appear in them. My guide to local SEO in North Cyprus covers the steps you can take yourself.
Selling your own projects as well?
Many construction companies in North Cyprus also develop and sell their own projects. In that case the website needs project pages with floor plans, available units and enquiry forms for buyers. My guide to real estate and property developer website design explains what buyers look for, and a real estate app can share the same listings with buyers on their phones.
An app can also help on the building side: progress photos and updates for clients, snag lists and handover checklists, or daily reports from the site. As a Flutter developer in North Cyprus, I build apps for Android and iPhone from one codebase. See my app development services in North Cyprus.
Frequently asked questions
Can we update our projects and progress photos ourselves?
Yes. Adding a new project, uploading progress photos or changing a description is done from a simple dashboard, in every language. I show your team how to do it when the website is handed over.
We have lots of photos and videos. Will the website be slow?
It doesn’t have to be. Photos are resized and compressed automatically, galleries load images only when they are needed, and videos can be hosted on YouTube or Vimeo so they don’t slow your pages down.
How long does it take and what does it cost?
It depends on the number of projects, services and languages. Having your project photos, company information and service descriptions ready at the start speeds things up the most. The guide to website costs in North Cyprus explains what affects the scope.
Do you work with construction companies across North Cyprus?
Yes, including Kyrenia, Nicosia, İskele and Famagusta, where we can also meet in person. After launch I can keep the website secure and updated with WordPress maintenance.
